We can even point you in the direction of the best cheesecake in town. For those days you don’t feel like eating out, feel free to use our kitchen to cook for yourself.

If you want to try some local cuisine, we have two must trys in Karakol:

Kymyz: Kymyz is the traditional drink of nomadic Kyrgyz people. It is made from fermented mare’s milk. The truth is, you either love it or hate it. But either way, it’s worth a try. Kymyz is available throughout Central Asia, and we’re happy to help you find it here in Karakol.

Ashlyam Fu: A classic Dunghan appetizer, which is especially famous in the Karakol region. This cold and spicy soup is best on a hot day, but you’ll find people in Karakol eating it year round. We recommend you don’t leave the city without giving it a try.
